As a unique player in the market, we cover our areas of expertise with our own equipment, know-how, and many years of experience in mini-excavation, mobile sludge dewatering, sludge drying, and soil remediation.
Kurstjens specializes in hydraulic excavation, (mobile) mechanical sludge dewatering and drying, and (mobile) extractive soil remediation. To support these areas of expertise, we have our own transport and earthmoving department.
The company was founded in 1965 and is headquartered in Hedel, the Netherlands, where we have a modern workshop. In addition to the regular maintenance of our extensive fleet of machines, we also develop and build innovative equipment here.

Earthmoving
Earthmoving was Kurstjens' main activity before the company specialized in hydraulic dredging, mechanical sludge dewatering and drying, and extractive soil remediation.
Transport
Transport: Kurstjens founded its transport division in the early 1980s. For many years, the company transported municipal sewage sludge to end processors on behalf of various water associations.
